Jenny’s Poets in Motion was formed in late 2019. When Jenny Lewis passed away in May 2019, I took to cycling to help me heal from such a great loss. This truly was therapy for me. A way to connect to Jenny through physical exercise and a way for me to simply be alone (although my brother-in-law, Len was the impetus for this new found passion) and think . I wanted to put it to share this new passion of mine with my friends and family. We decided to sign up for the The Princess Margaret Ride To Conquer Cancer. A 2-day 220 km ride from Toronto to Niagra Falls. Although the official ride was cancelled due to the pandemic, we took it upon ourselves and rode from Vaughan to Collingwood (160km). This was such a great success that we decided to form our own charity ride and did the same route in 2021 and 2022. Each year, we raised over $35,000 to help support 3 great charities

  1. Chai Lifeline

  2. The Jenny Lewis Memorial Fund at CHAT

  3. Princess Margaret Cancer Centre
